Pro-Choice Vandals Deface a Church

 

DENVER — A Catholic church in Boulder County, Colorado, was vandalized Sunday with pro-abortion graffiti in what police described as a “bias motivated” crime, the latest in a surge of national anti-Catholic attacks.

Worshipers arrived for Mass at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville “to find abortion graffiti defacing the church sign, sanctuary entry doors, garden sign, and the walls surrounding the building,” the local police department said Monday in a statement.

The spray-painted messages included “My body my choice” and “Bans off our bodies.” Vandals also sprayed over the word “Life” on a “Respect Life” garden stone to make it read, “Respect bodily autonomy,” as shown in photos posted by the police....

Violence against Pro-Lifers

Recently, we profiled acts of violence against abortion clinic property and staff. News stories on the topic abound in the mainstream media.

There are fewer articles about violence against pro-lifers. Most people can imagine that pro-lifers praying outside an abortion clinic receive the occasional middle finger from passersby. Likely far fewer are aware that countless times pro-lifers have been physically attacked, and even killed because of their convictions.

Violence includes:

1. Attacks on crisis pregnancy centers/pregnancy care centers, either in the form of smear campaigns or physical force
2. Physical assaults, and murders of pro-lifers praying outside of abortion clinics
3. Harassment and vandalism of pro-life organizations’ members or property
4. Vandalism of pro-life displays on college campuses
5. Harassment and death threats towards pro-life politicians
6. Abortion providers and staff who are also convicted criminals
7. Assaults and murders of pregnant women who refuse to have an abortion ...
